Some artists are in perfect harmony with nature and can make simply unique works only with what constitutes the environment and landscapes. This is particularly the case of the French designer Jben who specializes in beach art and creates giant drawings several meters long directly in the sand.

Former web designer and project manager Jehan-Benjamin Tarain, his real name, discovered beach art in 2014 and decided to buy a rake immediately to try his hand at the discipline.

It was in 2015 that he became known after creating a vast fresco representing a hand holding a pencil in tribute to the attack on Charlie Hebdo. Since then, he mainly illustrates what goes through his mind or what is close to his heart, such as the environmental cause, and immortalizes each drawing using a drone.

But for the artist in his forties, each drawing is a challenge since he only has 4 hours to complete them before the tide rises. However, this does not prevent him from thinking big and making illustrations ranging from 30 to 100 meters wide.
